    Default Table Rock 11/10

And now for something totally different.

Fished huge trees in deep water using minnows on a bare hook. Worked south of Piney down to Hideaway.
Had a friend from work come down to show my how he fishes in the transition. We fished bluffs and points over deep water (30 - 60 ft) Fished 15 - 30ft deep. You could see them on the graph and they were stacked but very negative.
Caught only 9 keepers but they averaged 12+. This is a learning experience for me cuz we had to wait up to 10 -15 minutes before one would take the bait. That's a bear for me to do. I'm a run and gunner type guy. But with good friends and good conversation, a great day was had and he put 18 fillet in his icebox.

    Good times to all.

You can always learn something when fishing with someone else no matter how experienced they are. Glad you had a good time with a friend and he got some fish for the freezer.

I'm the same way, that would be torture for me to sit and wait 10 minutes for a bite. It's good to get out and see different techniques. Now go and enjoy those filets.

Glad you got out and found a few. Nothing wrong with learning a thing or two either.

To tell you the truth though. I'd like to have a Wappappello in my back yard instead of the rock.
I like that shallow fishin in a lake with lots of 'em to choose from.
Good to hear from ya Smitty.
