    Default no wake jiggin

I had some motor trouble today and only had the old trolling motor so stayed within spittin distance of home. I decided to try something my grandpa used to do back in the day jig all the no wake bouys and to my surprise I didnt get skunked at it. I caught alot of dinks but some eaters too. It was something diffrent for sure hadnt done it since I was a kid. After that went home to find my pacage from caney creek so I shot some laminate carrots.

i've never fished the buoys for crappie but in the summer throwing shallow running cranks at them they are always good for a bass or two. like you said usually dinks, but they are fun too.

I am amazed at how many dinks i catch around the bouys in deep water. I would think something big would chase and eat them. Congrats on the fish and nice looking carrots.
