    Default Swan Creek anyone?

This weekend I went out with my uncle to shoot some guns at The Swan Creek shooting range, this being my first time i didnt know all of the creeks that were back there, My question is does anyone fish that area? How is it? Wondering if its worth my time for a quick trip out there

I have bass/bream/crappie fished there in the past. Luck varied, but haven't been there in a while.

Yes, it's a good area. Swan Creek empties out into what is called the Decatur Flats. If you look on a map, the Tennessee River channel runs on the south side. The flats are one the north side.

WARNING -- There are stumps everywhere in the flats. If you have a Lowrance with the US Basemaps, it has a good map of the many dithces that run through there. Navionics and other premium maps doesn't have this info on their maps.

I fished swan creek during draw down last fall an did well. I tossed my kayak in at the turn off just south of the bridge before the range. I haven't made it back, but it's on my list of good skinny water areas!
