ozark trolling poles in 14ft !!!!!!!!!! there IM7 GRAPHITE they have a very soft tip for minnow fishing and have good backbone also!!!! there are fairly new on the market . every one i know loves them!!!!!!
I've been crappie fishing with my dads poles and he uses the glass telescoping rods with the reel on the end. They store easy with no tangles but I would like to get some rods of my own and I want graphite. I would like some opinions between BnM BGJP, Crappie Maxx Signature, and southern Crappie Rods. I'm also looking at the BnM PST and Crappie Maxx Tightline Special but I don't do any fast trolling or pushing cranks just drift fishing jigs or minnows so they may be overkill. So any help on rod choice would be appreciated.

Crappie Maxx signature wouldn't be overkill.
B&M poles. Great poles and excellent service and knowledge. If you ever have a problem with a pole you will be taken care of. Learned from experience.
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
It mainly depend on how you want to fish and with how much weight. If your gonna push bobbers or maybe a couple of 1/8 or 1/16 oz jigs, the bnm bgjp would do great. If you plan on using 1/2 oz or more the bnm pro staff rods are great, and you can get them at a great price from grizzly jig. The bnm pro staff rods are a great all around pole for about anything and any weight. I have pushed from 1/4 oz minnow rigs to 5 and 6 oz double crankbait rigs

12 FT BGJP BnM TRY 14FT IF YOU CAN HANDLE THEM. BEST THERE IS!
I use 3 - 11' BGJP and 2 - 14' Capps & Coleman rods. I like the set up, but I am new to fishing and have not tried other brands. The 14' are 3 piece and can be a bit of a hassle to store in a rod box. I chose the 11' over the 12' simply because I like to have a rod in hand and the 11' felt more comfortable than the 12'.
It is not what you do for your children, but what you have taught them to do for themselves, that will make them successful human beings.

Can anyone tell me the differences in the Cappie Maxx Sign. vs BnM BGJP vs Southern Crappie Rod? Witch one has more backbone, the better tip for seeing bites, or both? Thanks
