EXCELLENT idea Monty, I'm in.
and they work well.. I have tried everything for a two piece rod to keep them together when not fishing, I have used felcro, soft coated rubber wire tie, etc...... stumbled on to this yesterday am drinking coffee out in the shop and spotted one of my counters hanging on the tool rack and with a little trial and error was able to come up with this dandy set of holders... seen them fancy ones chris and sam had last saturday and it inspired me to research this some..... if we have a long winter I make up a 100 or so and have them at spring camp for about a $1 a pair with 50% going toward the purchase of a big tent if we ever decided to get one....
