The angle that the sonar (all sonar, not just Si sonar) strikes an object really determines how it will show on the screen of your sonar unit. Menu settings influence this as well but getting something at the right angle is the biggest hurdle. Thought I found a sunken pick-up truck one day but after many, many extra passes by it, all we could see was a big rock…

I think thats some of those "ghost" fish some people talk about, ya see 'em but never catch 'em. Seriously, look like some ghost floating/hanging around waiting for Holloween. LOL
