If that is the little green level wind type I think its a piece of junk, I can't get the on/off bait clicker and the anti-reverse buttons to work 95% of the time.
These reels had me curious if they are a viable solution. I do a lot of jigging, and have started trolling/tightlining and wondered if these reels would be a good fit. I have a pro series spinning reel from WM and love it.
If anyone has used the deluxe crappie reel and can give feedback, I'd appreciate it.

Ive also been looking at them. Also looking at the zebco 33 origanal. SteveJ, is it possible that you got a lemon or are they just that poor of quality. I got a new zebco on sale for 12 buck, its smooth and so far flawless. Looking to get 2 more reels, ill wait for some more responses before I decide.
I had the same problem as Steve J with one of the two I own. The other one is OK would't buy another one.
Mr Zip
i have a wm delux and an uncle bucks crappie reel, both from bass pro, i haven't had any problem with either but i like the uncle buck's better because the release lever is larger and easier to use, it also is about half the price of the delux model.

The deluxe looks a lot like the WM, I might order a couple of those to try out.
Thanks
uncle buck's delux, the red reel that looks like a mini baitcaster
I was thinking about bidding a WM Delux reel on ebay, a green one. From what I have read I think I will hold off, Thanks for the info.
mduncan62, Thank for asking the question in this thread.
