morning, winds 6-8 mph ouf of NE,
light sprinkle from 5:30 - 7:15am,
overcast skies remained most of day
with fine mist shower around 11am.
Water temp 78.4 -81.2, air temp
71 to 83 by 3pm
8 entries took on the event with almost
a 50/50 split between spider rigging vs
long-lining. One team team spider rigged front, pulled
weighted bobbers on drop lines off rear working
grass lines, another team "wildcat" long-lined
working figure 8 circles on their search pattern.

2nd: Team McGhee / Benjamin
7 lbs. 13.5 oz.
1st & 2nd teams, spider rigged using Deep-South and
shakespeare Micro-Lite rods.
Bother teams used Charlie Brewer slider, Ron's Zip jigs
and AWD triple tail jigs
Arbuckle is 3,20 acre lake, considered heavy stained
with average depth of 6.5 ft, hydrila, kissimmee grass,
lilly pads, reeds. Most of bigger rish were caught in
and around the hydrila. Team Eberly & Parker shattered
last year's catch of 6 lbs 1 oz by over 2 lbs. Impressive
for September time of year. No fish had signs of egging
in early stages.

AWD - blue metal flake, chart curley tails.
