This morning I had to be at the VA hospital at 08:00, by the time I was done with all the sticking, prodding, and peeing, I just wanted to be in my boat and on some water. By 12:00, I had launched at the Gravois Mills acess on LOZ... FWIW, mine was the only boat trailer in the parking lot.

Not a good trip, but in all honesty, I was playing and didn't care if I caught anything. I did catch several fish... 8" crappie, 13" bass. I tried trolling using my 30 year old Bagleys DB-2's and similar Poes baits that I thought would run at the same depths as the Bandit 300 series (9 -10'). No hits though I could see "fish" on the Lowrance. Boring.........

By 4:00 PM the wind made boat control more of a problem than I wished to bother with.

FWIW, there was a FLW bass tournament on the LOZ today. I failed to see even one boat that would have been in the tournament... So much for the Gravois Arm and bass fishing!
