Short Kankakee Report for 9/12/12

Got out to the bayou this morning for an hour, the wind had blown even more duck weed into the area I planned on fishing...that excited me...tied on my trusty 5/0 wide gap Gamakatsu hook added a 5 inch Yum Dinger and proceeded to work every stickup I could find. I was rewarded with this 4 pounder - this time it didn’t come undone!

Had a couple good follows on my Slop Rodent, but today they were more interested in the smaller presentation. The flies were pretty aggressive today and chased me off the bayou.

...all in all, still a nice day down at the Kankakee.

I'm glad you're able to get out there and beat the banks and whip a few fish....nice!
