Default Not Bloody tough on Stockton

but it was rough,, checked the weather last night ,,10 mph winds, south/south east wind,,, not bad...so called Darrell and away we go,,,, put in at Twin Bridges motored up to C C..fished all the top secret spots, and some new ones,,,water was muddy, and the wind was 30 mph or more... could not fish anywhere up there,,,tried the trees on the flat north of the boat docks,,,three.(3)... moved on down towards Birch Branch cove, nothing,,,, moved towards old no.10 nothing, fished shallow, deep, trees, brush, open water, slow trolled, cast slow back, pitch drift, dropped to bottom up slow,,, cried, laughed, cussed, nothing helped..... so packed up, drank a fresca and headed home....

    cleaned three, all 11 in

jig color,,,,everything I had in the box,and two I found in a tree

    depth from 30 ft.to 4 ft.

    water color, muddy/stained
    water temp 87dg....

Oh well, Beagle...there are days like that to more fully appreciate the good days. Surprised there's such a difference in water temp from here to there!
