The Crappie are always biting better yesterday - I'm always a day late.
Yes the people do fish in Ne. It is just better fishing in surrounding states is all unless you travel to the mid or western part of the state. We don't have any large lakes on this end of the state where most of the population is. Several larger recreational lakes have been proposed but keep getting turned down. The people that are in charge of the fish and game aren't very smart and have devistated a lot of the local small lakes that we have on the east end of the state. I finally bought property on a private lake and do most of my fishing there. The State Fish and Game Dept doesn't have any say over this lake and needless to say it is in very good condition with a lot of quality fish in it that can be caught. Not just my opinion, but fact.
DO-GOODER EXTRADINAR :p
I do a fair amount of fishing here in the NE part of Nebraska where I live. Mostly for crappie and catfish.
Crappie were really hitting from about 7 till 9 this morning by the way. :D
