As most know, I am not a jig flinger, tosser, shooter or winder. BUT, in the last couple of months I have traveled quiet a bit and watched as I catch fish, but guys with me catch more fish. One such guy is Mr. Don Gridley, aka DonG on here. He is a shooting , flipping , casting kinda guy. He told me a while back that he had a "secret" weapon. Well, you know how that works. Anyways, two days ago, a little buddy down in Texas sent me a package of the "secret" weapons. Never seen those around here before I tell Don on the phone. Guess I will try them. Well, let me tell you, there wasn't a "minner" in the boat even though the long poles were rigged for them. THESE THINGS CATCH FISH. I am not converted just yet to jigs, but the prize is in the pudding. Any questions about the "Jimmy T" and what weight can be referred to DonG cause I ain't telling nothing. FATBOY

J, glad you had a good day fishing...I thought "Little Jimmy T" would catch fish in your part of the country...It sure has worked for Lil' Buddy & me since we started field testing it.. We have another in the making that has had excellent results...I have found someone to do the mold for me...Thanks for all the suggestions & replies to my post about "Molds"...We have named the new one Little Boy Blue and I hope to have a few soon....

I think about 1 more trip will win you over to jigs....I know Vonna will be glad to hear that...

I finally got my Bass Cat the way I want it. Funny how just 1 pitch can make such a difference in a boat.....It's not a Cadillac like yours but it will get the job done....

been a jig tosser, flinger, shooter and winder for bout 40 yrs..tell my buddies i catch so many cause of my "secret weapon" my own hand tied bucktail...they tell me its the operator??? many times i can catch one on every cast for quiet a bit...i doubt your secret weapon is any better than mine.

But, let's get the story straight !! Don G was tutored by some of the best Watts Bar Crappie anglers alive Not to mention all the tips and info he's been spoon fed from this site, and all the "hookups" he's made with various members.

Thanks for the non-information, and the bragging about how good you are. I believe that's the first time on this site I've seen someone talk such big stuff and then not even mention what it's about.

mduncan, this is kind of an inside joke amongst a few of us. The jig is a weedless setup. Crappiepappy, I don't know who all these people are that Don has been spoonfed info about Watts Bar are, but, I know that YOUR not one of them. You see, Don catches fish everytime he fishes down there plus he actually owns a boat. We all know who learned from who about what and I learned all that I know, which is very little, about Watts Bar from the TRUE WATTS BARS CRAPPIE KING, DonG and Blackie. FATBOY
