Default Back in the Highlife Again.

We got here late yesterday because we decided to stay the night in Dumuth MN (if you ever get a chance it's worth the stop). So we messed around on the lake yesterday and scouted some fish out. Hit the water early today and found some fish. It rained hard last night and the temperature was in the 70's all day and overcast. This is no Canadian lake or anything though, you can't throw a rock and hit a walleye and then it skips off of him and hits a northern pike. You have to work for them here. With the temperature being what is was though no one was complaining about a thing. We've been catching yellow perch, blue gill, walleye, and small mouth bass. Plan to get back after them tomorrow unless the it's lighting out. If thats the case then were gonna hit the casino and see if lady luck we pay for the trip. Hey it could happen.

The water looks rough where you have the automatic jigging if you have the pole holding still. I hear those yellow perch are good to eat also if they are big enough.
Looks like a nice family adventure. Did you trailer your boat up there or are you renting one?

We were calling lodges and this one had a boat to throw in so they could fill their cabin, so we went with them.
