big cedar lodge at table rock

i am heading down to branson and staying at big cedar lodge, i wasnt going to bring the boat for just 2 days, alot of family time, but after futher consideration i think i might. is there any good fishing in that part of the lake? i've never been there before. i guess worst case i can at least have a nice boat ride.

the boat ride will not be nice unless you have one big and I mean BIG boat,,,, south of branson south of long creek ramp, cricket creek is always good, lots of crappie caught there, it's just to darn far from my house or I would go,,, good luck.

table rock ended up being a bust for me, we had fun and did catch quite a few bass jigging spoons around bridge piers, but no crappie. i really couldnt believe it but big cedar marina didnt even have minnows and i like fishing with minnows. oh well kids are getting ready to head back to school so i guess i will have to make a run down to truman.
