Welcome to the forum. To be able to give you much advice I need to know if you will be fishing from a boat or the bank and also what body of water or area you will be fishing in.
Hey guys, I have posted a couple of times on here since I signed up aweek or so ago, I guess I need to explain my self a little, ive been crappie fishing about 4 years now. Only late winter early spring,. My uncle has always done it that way and that's how I learned. Always wondering why he never crappie fished in warm weather... They got lock jaw, was his answer to me. I know the fish do not disappear, and started trying some crappie fishing this summer, but I can't figure these things out this tome of year. Caught a few here and there, but nothing like getting on them for even enough to eat. What doors it take for a new warm weather fisherman to get on crappie? Help me out guys, I would love to pull up at my uncles house with a limit in july and august just to see the look on his face!

Welcome! Are you fishing from a boat or bank.
If you have a kayak, canoe or flat bottom several of us are heading over to Lily Pond Saturday. I've never fished it before, but we should catch a few.
Hey guys, thanks for the welcome, sorry I forgot to mention that I fish from a boat, and on Wheeler. Mostly flint creek, limestone bay area. I like fox/mallard but its a haul for me, by boat or trailering. I live in Priceville so flint is really close. its kind of hard to remember everything while at work trying to avoid the boss while thinking about fishing...
