That's an interesting jig there, Trevor. I know I'd get caught by those in a store...seems like the crappie would as well!
Did pretty well on the "Ugly Bugs" this morning, then got sidetracked chasing whitebass. On my way to another crappie spot, I seen a guy having trouble with his motor. Pulled him back to the launch and decided to call it quits!!! Most all crappie were caught in 8fow only down 2'-5', this color combo produced much better than any others!!!

Joe, you don't have to get caught with them in the store, you know where to find them!!!
Good looking jigs Trevor .. glad to hear they're working for you.
Nice looking jigs ! Might have to try some Friday .
Trevor.
Just out of curiosity, what do those babies look like IN the water? I've never been very successful (or maybe had confidence) in jigs that looked like they were tied. I use mostly minnows or the various plastics that are out there. The few times I've tried jigs like that it always seemed like they kind of slicked down or whatever (at least when I pulled them out) so I was curious if they fluff back out and present themselves as enticing and robust in the water like they do in your pics.
Please, please understand I'm not digging at your fabulous lures with which you and others have great success. I just haven't learned to like lures like that yet and am looking for some help.
Those are very nice looking jigs Trevor. Bruce I suppose they "match the hatch", or look like a small shad or minow swiming in the water.

Bruce, when you pull them out of the water they do "slick back", but spread out and have awsome action in the water. Those collar tails have great action.
Interesting looking jigs. Those should produce stringers of fish.Thumbs Up Congrats on your fishing trip today too.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
