Oranges. They love them. Just cut them in quarters. Don't know what kind of trap to use.
But, you can buy a 1000 of them for about the cost of 3 or 4 tubes at local bait shop.
Anybody know how to catch crickets? I've got some of the biggest, fattest crickets I've ever seen around my garden. I know what I need to use to bait them and that's the tomatoes and cantaloupes they've been devouring. They've really been gorging themselves on them and I need to get rid of them. I'm tired of throwing away half eaten tomatoes and cantaloupes! banghead
So, what do I need to catch me some fat 'ol crickets so I can let 'em swim with the fishes???

Lay old pieces of Cardboard or Carpet around the garden. Each day lift and catch Crickets as they will hide under them.

MikeA57, Take a look in this old thread I posted in. I used to have homemade cricket traps. Here how we made them. Works very good.
