i found a boat on craigslist that is about 3 hours away that i am interested in. now the seller says she is in the military and and cant leave her base to meet me to sell. so she has the boat at a shipping company in topeka kansas ready to be shipped out and delivered for free. she says as soon as i give the "go ahead" she will have them ship it to my address in 3 days and i have 5 days to inspect it before i have to pay or return it. she says she is paying all the shipping and the return fee if i decide i dont like it. she says it is being sold through amazon. anybody know anything about how this works? is it legit? kinda paranoid about it.

It's a scam, I read on a different boating forum that they had the same thing going on and it was a scam.

My wife lets me buy all the rods and reels I can hide.
I've had the same emails sent to me over Craigslist ads I have placed. Common tactic-run away.
