Wapp Report Saturday the 23rd

Hit the water just before day light and went up river to Otter Creek. Started out slow trolling minnow rigs on one side and jigs on the other. Caught fish on minnows and nothing on jigs.
No big ones to speak of. Caught about 30 fish with 6 keepers. Threw em back to catch another day. Started getting hot about 10:00 and the pleasure boats were hitting the water so I packed it in.

Thanks all. Beagle you aint kidding!!! It was good to get out!!! Smitty, the lake was at 359.?? yesterday. It is right at summer pool. You should have no problem at Redman!!!

Speck you had better luck than we did today

we fished the channel out from lost creek and managed 2 keepers out of bout 15 fish. Like you said nothin on jigs, the few we did catch was with minnow. Ended up letn them go also.

Congrats on the catch. Maybe next time you'll find bigger fish. With the heat such as it is and all the pleaure boaters and water lice out now you really only have time to hit a couple spots. Maybe you'll find 'em next trip.
