    Default Truman Weekend Report


    Went to Bucksaw this weekend. My in-laws bought there first boat and are starting to Crappie fish with us now. All with the new boat went pretty well, just a few minor bugs to work out.

    We didn't really fish that hard on Saturday, more of a get to know the boat day. They followed me down to Long Shoal for lunch and we fished the Tebo for a couple of hours. I didn't catch much but they caught a few.

    Sunday was much better. Fished for two hours on the upper grand. Anything from 12-18 fow 10' down was best for us. Minnows were working best on Saturday, Jigs for me on Sunday. My wife and I had 11 in a couple of hours then the rain came, so we got to see just how fast the new boat would make it back to the dock! Here's a couple pics.

    Sounds like a great weekend. Glad you got them out and showed them around. They caught a few fish so that will have them hooked now for sure.

    That boy knows how to show off fish! Well done.
    He did that all on his own. I didn't even get to see the picture until after it was taken! A four year old can make 11" fish look big!

    Great pics. An 11 inch crappie is good to us. My partner and I kind of have a 10 inch size limit. Congrats on the catch.
