Phil there will be a number of female that will have eggs all summer.
My brother in law and I went yesterday evening and fished the rip rap under the eastern W bridge that goes up to Owl creek. We caught 17 nice crappie, 10" to 12.5", a lot of dinks and a bonus 5 lb catfish. He gave my bro in law a fight and the ultra light rod. Caught them on a Kalins blue/black and chartuese grub with an 1/8oz jig head. We were casting right to the bank and reeling back to the boat about 25ft out. Most of the crappie would smash it about 4 ft from the bank. Started getting good about 8pm and we fished till 9:30pm. I was a bit surprised to find several of the female had eggs still. Not a belly full, but a small sack that were a nice yellow color. I thought all that was over, but I'm still learning this crappie thing. It was certainly a beautiful evening!!

A gun, like any other source of power, is a force for either good or evil, being neither in itself, but dependent upon those who possess it
