Buzzy, I would, but the boss says i have to go spend time with her family. Therefore, i am going to try and get some fishing in. Her family is great, but big table rock crappie is even better. also, Stockton has been a bust for me the last couple of times i went.

Lot of stumps starting to pop up with water down as it is. I fish the cape area quite a bit and its been slow for me. I usally put in at anglers bend and go to the marina and back around virgins bulf. Can see a lot of fish on the finder along the bluffs. But thier scatter. I use minnows most of the time.
    Good luck

According to my reliable fishin' buddies, the males are off the beds.
Been slow slow slow on the jig/minnow bite.

It's crankbait pullin' time on the Rock.

#4 or #5 shad rap or 200 series bandits just outside the standing timber and over the main channels at bridgeport.
Blue/Orang on sunny days Darker Blues to purple on cloudy days.

Put a 1 oz sinker 3ft in front of the bait and let out 30 ft of line and adjust up and down from there.
1.5mph - 2.0 mph on the GPS if you have one.

Thank you very much. Our dock is just a little way from Virgin Bluff. I will report how it goes.

we do it on Stockton when it gets hot. I have not tried on TR, but am going to give it a shot this weekend if i can stay away from the party boats. i am not a big fan of holiday weekends when trying to fish. but TR is a big lake.
