    Default How's the fishing on Barkley?


    I'm coming down Thursday for a week! How's the crappie bite they in post spawn yet? Are the gills and shell crackers still on the beds and fired up! Thanks for any info!

    Crappie are in post spawn patterns. Last Friday caught a few keepers casting jigs on brushpiles close to or on drops, but they were scattered. The only bluegill fishing I have done has been on Ky and I think the May spawn is wnding down.

    My trip was good thanks for asking Cought some fish got a lil to much sun! The red ear bite was fair till a cold front came through and caught a lot of crappie by the dam pushing jigs but 70% of them where 91/2 inches still had a good time! The keeper crappie I Cought some still had eggs in them!
