I used to paint/dip mine with lacquer or enamel or fingernail polish, started using powder bout 4 years ago, so simple and easy, time you thru coating(painting) you can immediately start tying. I use the burner on the stove on low and a pair of needle nose, heatem, dipem, and hangem on a coffee cup. I still use fingernail polish to make the eyes, just make a big dot with the brush in the bottle, let dry abit and come back with a little dot, usually white/blk, or reverse depending on head color. I do this after I tie the jig. eyes aint necessary, but they shore make a pretty jig prettyer!

Where do you get your powder from?
I picked up 500 more today. And sure will be putting some color on them soon.
Thanks for the fingernail polish ideal. I used to get laughed at a lot for keeping some in red and pink in my tackle box when I bass
    fished.
I'm sure I will be asking more questions soon on painting them.I guess I could use the HVLP sprayer to spray a bunch at one time. LOL

Are they good quality and what hook does he use? That's a really good price.

I use 1/16 and 1/32 oz. for the most part with a #4 Eagle Claw hook.

He does a good job pouring these. And on the 1/32 oz I picked up a pack of #4 and #6 eagle claw hooks.
1/16 oz had #2 eagle claw hooks. And he had then in #4 also.
1/8 oz I got with 2/0 hooks . Asked him about some with 3/0 and he is going to let me know.

Does anyone use a 1/64 oz with a big hook? I wish I could come up with some that has a 2/0 or 3/0 hook.:D
