Question HumminBird 597 CI HD DI Mount Options for Pond Prowler

I just ordered one from Amazon and it will be here tomorrow. I want to mount it to my Pond Prowler 10' but I don't want to drill holes, at least not until I have a good idea where I want it to permanently live. I'm thinking I'll do some PVC engineering and mount it to my seat base and have it stick out in front of me somehow. Also, I need to engineer a transducer mount. I'm thinking pvc again and a c-clamp on to the transom. Anyone have ideas, experiences or pictures?

    Thanks,

I figured this out. I mounted the finder directly to the boat. For the transducer, Bass Pro sells an aluminum transducer clamp mount. You mount the transducer to it, then clamp it to the transom. You can adjust the depth of the transducer and you get great protection for it as well. $50 well spent!
