Had a very good day at Summit Lake down by New Castle,In. yesterday. My buddy,Fire831,...caught 12 keeper size crappie and a 15" large mouth bass. I caught 5 keeper size crappie,...biggest one being 11 and 1/2",and a 12 to 13" large mouth bass! That does not even count the 10 or more smaller fish we released back into the lake. Those two large mouth bass must have been awful hungry since they hit the crappie minnows. My first trip to this lake about seven years ago did not go as well as this one,...no fish! It was a great day to be out on the water yesterday,...even if I did get a little sunburn on the arms and face from sun reflecting off the lake.
