Any comments ?

I traded a 4 Wheeler fora 14'crappie boat.
It is sky blue. I'm going to rebuild the boat inside and out. As for hull paint I've often been puzzled as to what would be the very best for crappie fishing. I need all the help I can get. For duck hunting the colors are obvious "camouflage"
. I don't won't to look like a14'gator our snake to the slabs. It's not a duck boat. So what is the very best bottom color for crappie? I'm leaning towards moss green or sky blue. Does it matter for a crappie specific boat?
Lighter is cooler in the sun. Dead grass tan would be a good pick. Look up HydroTurf in your favorite search engine. It helps keep your boat cooler and quieter.
I just painted 2 of my Jon boats with Parker's duck boat paint in olive drab. It's flat and they look good. I got the paint idea and alot of good tips for redoing my jon boats over at tinboats.net
With all the high gloss sparkley glitter boats fishin em, I doubt it makes a rats arse bit of difference.
Caught lots of crappie from all colors of boats and none of the crappie
ever complained. I always like camo in any color just to be different. The bottom
of my kayaks are camo'ed. I always hope the crappie are lookin' up and see a log
of some kind floating on the surface. I've caught more crappie close to my kayak
than I have casting anywhere, with the exception of docks. Still trying to get
good at shootin' docks. I ain't givin' up anytime soon either.
