Last year I caught the smallest bream in KY Lake and now this?

I guess it means that I'm just too good for my own britches. You've got to admit that it takes SKILL to catch a turtle on a cricket on a drop-shot rig in 10 feet of water.

BTW, we checked out LBL side and west side before we ended up on a sand bank where the turtle came from that was LOADED with spawning channel cats 2-3 pounds. We then hit a bluegill bed that was red hot for over an hour. Lots of fun on the guy on the trolling motor in 20mph winds (I'm learning the spot-lock on my Terrova this weekend!) I also learned that panfish CAN see hi-viz PowerPro braid and they don't like it. qs wore me out till I rigged up a rod with Mr Crappie and started catching bluegill.

This gin-clear water is hurting us right now. How many times can you guys remember being able to see the bottom in 3-4 feet of water in early April on KY Lake?

Maybe it will be the start of the return of grass on the lake. Mustard flowers ought to have a heck of a head start.
