Since all I have to fish at the moment is my home pond. How do all you experts fish with a jig from the bank?? Inquiring minds wants to know. Seems night crawlers and shiners aren't working these days for me...

Cork and jig! Lighter jigs in colder weather=slower fall=lots more bites!
CATCH A BIG-UN
Approach the water with a jiggin' pole (12' to 16') and start at the edge of the water and swing the rod
out and all the way 'round to the bank again, a semi-circle. Take a step to your left and repeat, all the way
'round the pond. Bet you catch some fish. Use 1/16th to 1/32nd oz. jig. Keep your line tight and good luck.

Never thought of that semi-circle technique but I'll give it a try.
Well I just picked up a 13' BnM Black Widow jiggin pole for 10 bucks at Walmart. Time to try this tactic!!
