Early evening crappie

Had a great couple of hours at a windy point at Hillsdale.Caught 15, kept 8 Black/Chartruese roadrunner was working along the banks.Sizes ranged from 10.5 - 12Good luck all.

Job well done. Taking the boat out to Perry tomorrow. Pretty sure we will limit out. Will post results tomorrow

Didn't limit but we put 20 in the boat. This is a weird year. Water temp 64 pretty much lake wide and warmer in shallow coves. Fished some coves in big slough arm. Would catch one or two in one spot then dead for 40 yards. Never more than two in any one spot. Most fish dark males and females have eggs still solid. Went to Perry Marina and picked up 3 or 4. Ended up in Rock Creek picking up the rest. All fish taken in less than 3 ft of water on jig and bobber. You definitely had to work for them if you could find them.
