I hooked one bluegill on Trout Lakle last weekend but they didn't seem to be in the shallows much.
Has anyone seen any up shallow or caught any yet this year in lake union or washington? caught some pretty nice ones last year and i am looking forward to gettin a bunch more this year.

we should hit up that section on union with a bug rod in a couple weeks...
To land one of my crappie i need a gaff and a .22 pistal :D
Union and Washington are running way behind this year. Hell, the crappie schools where still out suspended over 25'-30' of water last Sunday. On a "normal" year they'd be in at least 10'-17' of water by now. The perch are up pretty shallow now though.
yea it really is slow this year. last year by may 5th i was really gettin into the smallmouth and that was from the shore
anyone know if the perch are moving up shallow?
