    Default Cave Run


    Fished Cave Run from 10 until 3 today and had a good day... caught about 30 and had sevral in the 10 to 12 inch range with one 16 inches... hopefully it will treat me as good next week when I make it back.

    Looks like you had a great day of fishing...hope I do as well on Wed. before I go to work.I went last Thur.raised three musky ,had a hold of one of them but could'nt do anything with it on the long pole.Did catch a 5lb bass though, but struck out on the big crappie!

    Wish you luck... Didn't see many crappie fishermen today, several boats musky fishing... been hearing they were catching some good crappie, was the first time I made it up this year... hopefully I will get back up that way in a week or two.
    By the way, I never caught a fish shallow, caught them all 10 to 15 feet in standing timber.

    North fork is my favorite section of the lake... unfortunately I have to drive past the main lake to get there and I don't always do that.
