Fished about 4 1/2 hours Saturday. Between the wind and the boats, like fishing in July. Ended up with 37 good fish. They had moved out from where we had previously caught them to 16 fow 10-12 feet deep on minnows.

Got up to 67 back in the coves, better fish suspending in the channel staging, up from Holmes near bridge.

This cold front probably pushed them back out. The boat traffic was people getting out for the day, plus there was a few bass tournaments. Checking on a different board, the green fish are on fire. It took 22# to win on Sunday. Soo the bassers will be hitting this lake hard on the upcoming weekends. Someone reported a basser running onto the long point in front of Emerald Isle!! They can have the green fish, I'd rather have an enjoyable day crappie fishing.
