    Default driftmaster rod holder bases

Ive got some 3/4" round stock aluminum Id like to use to make T bars with for my drift masters. Drift Master does make any bases that small. Any sugguestions for an adjustable (tilt up and down) aftermarket base, if there is such. Just has to be able to screw 3/8" rod holders.

I can't remember what they are called but lowes and home depot have a clamp in the iron pipe section that will clamp around 3/4 pipe and has a threaded part that is 3/8 . They are made to attach a standoff to when running iron pipe in an open overhead area.

hmm Ill have to look those up cray.

I suppose I dont HAVE to use that 3/4" round stock, but I have it, and need a T bar or two on the front deck.

Just looked them up. A split ring hanger. Wonder how well they work? Certain cheaper than drift master bases, even if I had the right side round stock. I'd entertain other style rod holders, but I already have a bunch of drift masters.

I just made up 2 using the split ring pipe hangers located in the pluming section at lowes, and the driftmasters. They come in galvanized and copper plated and work well.

found a couple threads where people have used the pipe hangers. Much cheaper than buying new material and bases.
