Good job on searching them out. It had to be a nice day on the lake.
Well, me and a buddy went to fellows lake today, got there around 7:00-7:30 a.m., fished the dock, nothing doing, saw one fish caught, moved west down bank a guy had two, he never caught another and neither did we, fished that east side where no boats allowed, nothing, now its coming up on 3:00 and not even a hit, banghead finally found a lay down tree top and caught a few, ended up with 14 and a bluegill, smallest being just over 9" and biggest just shy of 13", minnows under a float bout a foot, foot and a half deep, left around the same time we got there, but opposite end of the day, had em for supper. sure did have to be consistent very light bites, i had maybe 2 pull the cork under, most times just saw the bobber move away and set the hook, first time i have seen crappie actually hit topwater, had a few half alive minnows that would swim just under the sufrace and crappie were breaking it to get them, was very neat.
