Fished today and Sunday on Logan Martin and caught some. Yesterday a couple of friends caught 90 +
Went a few times last week and had pretty good luck. Let most of them go but kept a few for the frying pan. Seemed like every other fish was over 12 inches and busting at the seams with eggs! Anyone else doing any good?

Great looking mess of fish, congratulations.
Thank you, Bob! I always try to release some of the bigger fish with eggs so that they will make babies and the crappie fishermen of Alabama can continue to catch them! I hope that many folks are able to go over the next few days with this warm weather.... I have a feeling the best is yet to come
My son and I were on Weiss last Saturday, March 10. Caught 30 or so, lots of short fish, but did manage to get two that were in the 1.5 lb range....
Fished Neely Henry today with son and caught 42 but half of them were too short.

Have not been, but I have heard that the Alabama River around the Millbrook area is the place to be for big fish. Anyone gone around these parts recently?
Crappiemasters holding big tourny there this week. Probably be many big fish caught.

I fished at lay today. launched out of beeswax, crappie had lock jaw. Didn't catch one. Caught a couple bluegills, a ton of baby cats but that was it! Use minnows, and every jig and curly tail you can think of. Heard from others to hit paint creek and cedar creek, of course after the fact. Also heard they are bedding, so looked for the flats then my electronics took a nose dive. We couldn't find them. Total snake bit!
They also had a bass tourney going on today. Saw a couple guys weighing in, but didn't talk to any of them as to where they were fishing.
Nice pic by the way! I just moved here and looking for some honey holes.....
