IMHO ... yes, it probably would. Water temps above 60deg & stable is spawning time. Water temps above 50deg should put them on the move towards their preferred spawning areas. Water level fluctuations, cold snaps, major storms, and the like will delay them awhile. But they'll keep trying until the water gets too hot for any chance of survival of the fry, and if the females haven't dropped by then ... they'll just consume the eggs (protein) back into their bodies, for their own survival.
