well nice report Bob, glad you got to try out the rig.... Maby if the wind will lay a bit we can get togather and fish next week... not the spider rigging,,, the old fashion slow troll or cast the bank... later man
Took the boat out this morn and tried out the racks & seats. They worked great. Fishing was slow but did manage 14 good ones before I had to head home. Threw back several fish between 9 and 10 inches. Gonna rethink my rigs tho. Using 6# mono now but think I will switch to 10#. Broke off several times. I believe the 10# will straighten out the hooks instead of breaking. Had a great time and look forward to getting out again soon.
Wanted to mention that I ran into Bigby. He was dipping trees and said he had 12. It was nice to see him.

Glad you got out to try the new set-up! I have a question though; why mono instead of braid?? Just curious.
mono stretch, braid snap rods
Congrats Bob!!! I've been using 10# on mine for a few years now.

Nice seeing you Bob, I ended up with twelve and a 5lb blue cat I left right after I tried the mouth of the cove we fished. Several of the ones I cleaned looked like they went to the all you can eat shade buffet, they looked like they were going to pop. It was a nice day to be on the lake.
Glad everything is working out for ya and congrats on the catch.
Sounds like a good day .. always fun to try out the new stuff. Congrats!
