With the bad weather and winds the fishing time has been held down to start the season off for us. The brown trout have been moving in and out, preferring the muddy shoreline water after a storm and then scattering when the water clears. The upside is after this last rainny, foggy streatch the kings have found there way to the shallow baitfish. Some nice fish are being caught on orange spoons and orange or green and silver fastracks in 15 -20 feet of water. This is how last years record season began, hopefully we will see a repeat year of record salmon catches.
