ended up putting in at w and going down to rock cove because of the wind and drew a blank. There was a few other boats in there with no luck either. Where did all the fish go in smithville its been pretty tough the last few weeks. Are they moving into the shallows or is everybody still catching em deep

Nobody's been catching them that I've seen...or else they just aren't posting anything. I tried yesterday South of W and didn't have any luck.

Thanks for the report .. sorry you didn't find any. I tried one of my favorite bank spots late last week and didn't have a bite in 3 1/2 hours. I might have to get out tomorrow and enjoy the 70 degree weather.

I saw you leaving the launch. I tried south of W on the first big cove on the west and then went North of W on the East side with no luck either. Good luck tomorrow. That kayak isn't exactly what I was expecting from your post. Looks kinda high tech with the all the stuff you had in there.

It has been pretty tough for sure up there lately. I am o for in the last three trips. I can tell you they have not started coming to the docks yet. I don't think they are far from hitting the docks but I am guessing the water temp will need to go up another 5 degrees and stay there or keep warming before they start migrating in.

Won't be long, and it'll be good fishing again. Hang in there.
