    Default New Pole Help

Looking for any ideas on purchasing a new pole. I'm wanting something for casting jigs. I mostly fish with 10 footers but I would like something in the 6 - 7 foot range. Any suggestions?

I have a temple fork outfitters lite action signature series 6 1/2 foot that is great $99. I also have st crois med/lite 6 1/2 foot that is great for casting, is very sensitive and works well for shooting under docks etc....$79.

I've got a good friend that is selling his Team Daiwa X Spinning Rod (6'3") that he lists as "A+ condition...........and it is for sure. The guy is more meticulous about his gear than I am.

He's got a nice flyer made up on the rod if you would like to see it?

If your going to shoot any docks i would make sure you go with a medium lite rod where you have the tip action to shoot.

I'll be honest and say that a good medium light graphite rod of your choice and within your budget will fit the bill for casting crappie jigs. I have been using cheap Berkley rods for years and have caught thousands of crappie on them .
