Another mess caught today on Rend. The water temp. has dropped down to about 65 but the fish were still on in certain areas. The one in my left hand was a black crappie about 12 1/2 inches.

Hey Dreeser, I was out on the water from about 9:00am until about 3:00pm. Those fish were all caught in one area.
Hey Slab the pictures should come up when you click on the thread. If they don't then I'm not sure what is wrong.
Here are a few that my fishn partner Clint and I caught today. The big fish was the first fish I caught today and it was 1lb 4oz. and just shy of 14 inches. The other was just over 12 inches.
If you have never tried Rend Lake I would encourage you to give it a try.

Hey CX, glad somebodys on them. I was thinking of going to rend tomorrow or the next day. They seemed to have lock-jaw at DQ city lake. Can you help a guy out? Are they shallow? Brush, rocks, any certain depth or color?? I need to get that freezer full before this spawn is over with. Sorry for asking so many questions but I've never fished rend before and I'm still trying to learn how to find those slabs.. Good luck to ya.
