Drove over there today and looked around. Pretty sure it's the same place i came in through the chute off the Meramec years ago. Not much of a parking lot or ramp for that matter, but i think you could get a boat in without to much trouble. Stopped back by the lodge and was talking to some buddies about it and a guy at the next table said there's been alot of vehicle's vandalized there. He should know, he's with the Sheriff's Dept. He said they're down there all the time arresting and running off kids drinking or loitering. Fryguy and BarryG, sounds like a place a guy might try during the week if ya get a day off. Anyway it's more like a long narrow slough that a quarry, don't know how much pressure it gets...izzy

did you see all the little ponds? the map looks like it has a ten or so small ponds also. narrow is fine with me, it condenses the fish; did it seem ridiculously shallow though. i was afraid it would be 2 feet deep or something. thanks for the info though izzy!

Just done a Google Satelite view of the area, had no idea those other ones were there. It has plenty of depth, there's an old glass ski boat sunk right next to the ramp with about 3' of the bow sticking up. Could'nt see the rest of it hehe. Looks to have been there awhile...izzy
