Today the Crappie won, the day started out with me hitting a deer....or did the deer hit me??? Either way my boat trailer and a deer came into high speed contact with each other....All things considered the trailer came out unscaved, pulled the fenders off when i got home and a tugg here and a push there and just like new..Back to fishing,,,ran up river to a couple of spots that have been holding some fish for me, starting two polling and caught one right off the bat, thought it would be over i short order Wrong, spot after spot after spot, marking lots of fish and snagging one in the mouth every now and again but no pattern, finally threw in the towel at around 2:30. Looks like minnows are the go to bait, and i breakout if i touch minnows so not sure what to do?

I heard of another deer truck & boat accident last nite..Three dead deer & one truck & boat with damage...I had deer hit trailer last year & $250.00 later I got it all fixed..Some days it's the crappies turn..
