Thumbs up Up date on Pop!!

Guys, I wanted to give you an up date on my pop. He has just completed the 4th week of radition treatment and is really doing good. I was blessed to be with him today on the water, it was his first fishing trip since Oct. The fishing was slow but we had a great time on the water. We fished our home lake (Reelfoot) and it was covered up with boats. We only brought home 12 crappie but you would have thought we had won the lottery!! Good times and memories on the water. Thanks for all of your prayers for him and my son.
    Thanks, Lynn

Yeah he is feeling pretty good. He asked the folks at the cancer treatment place on Thursday if he could get in real early on today they told him 8:30. He then told them he was wanting to go fishing with me, they told him to come around back at 7;30 and they would get him in. He took them some dounts this morning as a Thank you!

WOW. That is what it is all about. Thanks for sharing and God Bless. You can't ask for a better fishing partner than your dad or kids! Keep it up!
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

Thats great news. I am glad they are doing well. I lost my dad 2 years ago and miss him everday. Some of the best memories are us fishing together. The power of prayer is amazing.
