It was rough enough to keep me in the dry today maybe tommorrow.
Did anyone go fishing in the rain Saturday?

I did a little at a small pond...caught some 4-7" 'gills on various spinners...1/16 white rooster tail, and a silver shiner size 0 Blue Fox Vibrax. Not too much girth to them, but UL fishing at its finest.

I Was Up At Stockton Friday, Terrible Day, Wind Blowing,
Lots Of Rain, Whitecaps, I Just Worked On My Toon, 3 04 4
Boats Came In And Cleaned Fish, The Most I Saw Was Ten Or So,
Just As I Was Leaving, Three Guys Came In With A Net Full
Of Crappie, Headed For The Cleaning Table, One Guy And I Started
To Talk And A Monsoon Hit, A Deluge, He Took Off For Cover,
No Matter How Bad It Gets, Some Guys Catch Fish, Looked Like
They Had At Least 3 Limits.

I went Saturday morning at Lake Lotwanna. I flipped a jig and pig behind the boat docks for two hours for large mouths. I had a 5 pounder and 3 keepers. I missed one and broke off a huge one.
I went to Council Bluffs lake near Salem Mo. Rained from 6:30 fri night untill I left this afternoon.Wind was around 25 to 30 mph and we had several trees blow down in the campsight that we were in. Didn't get much fishing in...but it looks like a great lake for Crappie and Bass.
you bet I have been taking medication since but this sickness was coming on Friday so I can blame it on foal weather.Originally Posted by speckhunter
We fished all day on Truman and only got one little rain shower then when we pulled out here it came.
We did, had such a great day Friday, many limits in our group of 15 guys. Mostly 10-13 inch fish with a few 14 and 15s.
Sorry I missed you bugman, my phone was misplaced in the truck until Sat night. We had a great time and did make it to the bar b que for dinner Sat night, we were the only one that braved the rain for that.
