    Default B N M rod help

Getting ready to order some 14ft B N M poles. I have used the 11ft graphite jig poles for years and am getting ready to either buy the graphite jig poles or the pro staff trolling rods. These rods will be used for spider rigging and usually use 1/2 to 3/4 oz weights.I bought a couple 14 ft pro staff rods last year for pushing cranks and have used them for spider rigging but I cannot see a light bite on it like I can my jig poles.I just seem to like the tip on the jig poles better. My question is will the 14ft jig pole hold 3/4oz weight.

Not well, not rated for it and wouldn't suggest it, if you want softer tips that'll hold the heavy stuff go with the CnC's, but I prefer pst's, high vis line will show you light bites, but either way a light bite on the bottom hook of a 3/4 oz rig is just tuff

The C&C's will hlep you see the light bite but I wouldn't go much heavier than 3/4 ounce weights. If anything I would suggest trying 1/4's if conditions will allow. Just my 2 cents...
