    Default Truman 1/24

A little icy at the ramp this am, quite a surprise had to break ice at the ramp and then again in a couple places working our way down....... all worth it for a great day of fishing and some chilling in between....... went with old buckwheat, he lied to his wife and said he had some work to do.... think that is why we didn't keep any, he was affraid to take them home..... had maybe 40 keepers and maybe 4 poundish fish, most from 10' down in 15'fow in brush, did catch a few shallower once in awhile....... added that willow blade to the jig this trip, used them before, just keep forgetting to put one on....... they don't hurt..... had a great time, then as we were loading out, stl showed up, glad to say hello stl....... home you found some.......... we left all ours, all c & r for us today.......

Way to go guys. Glad you got out and caught some. Sounds like a pretty good bite to end up with 40 or so.

    Congrats!!

Hoping to take a day off and get some time on the water, the only question is Smithville or Truman... north or south.
The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.

Nice! 40 keepers sounds awfully good........congrats on a good day, I'm jeolous.
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish
