Default what's the best trolling spinning reel

I'm looking at going to spinning reels on my trolling poles. Just wondering what everyone recommends. Any pros or cons about them?

I primarly use quantum snapshot 10's for longlining, but also use the shakespear alpha from BPS as well. I don't like an "instant reverse" reel and these two have the reverse start at 6 and 12 (sorta) and works find for me. Pretty cheap at < $20/reel. Which one is the best is a matter of opinion, so you'll get lots here.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

For longline trolling all I'm using are cheap $15-$20 Quantum and Mitchell reels. They have a decent drag and get the job done. And if a gar or stump takes one overboard then I aint out of too much.

On my spider rods all I use are the cheap spincast reels as all theyre really doing is storing line anyway. I dont fish with anything other than light wire hooks or light wire jigs so I'm not expecting to catch any big catfish or stripers...just crappie and drags arent even in the equation for me. The poles are the drags when it come to catching crappie. The spincasts store easier than the spinning reels I started out with and they take up less space when stored away.

Daiwa Sweepfire 2500's. Good enough drag to bring in a 10lb cat or muskie, better quality than the $10 Shimano IX series-$12 each.

mitchell avocets, 20-25$ they have a good smooth drag. Some say you dont need a drag for spider rigging, thats baloney. If you hook a 2lb + crappie especially in shallow water, you will be gratefull for a good smooth drag system. I also prefer the spinning type reels instead of bait casters because the handles are reversable. I keep my handles on the left side so i can grab the pole with my right. Some of my buddies can't get used to this,so they can easily chage the handle. Just my opinion.

Mitchell Avocets. Found some Walmart closeouts 1/2 price 11bucks. Need the drag for hangups and the occasional bigun.
